Inventory Control (IC)
Accredo’s Inventory Control (IC) module is not just a great way of managing your stock, it’s one of the hubs of the Accredo system. With direct links to almost every other core Accredo module, IC allows you to monitor what stock you have, what you need, what it’s worth, where it is and more.
Import and export all sorts of valuable information about your stock – for example, stocktake quantities, descriptions, prices – and use Accredo tools to report on your inventory by just about any criteria you can think of.
Use the extensive product details to produce labels, barcodes, catalogues and more from your Accredo system, and automate processes such as stocktaking, repricing and ordering.
Let us tell you more about just some of the innovative features of Accredo’s IC module.
Get the right information in
Find the perfect location
Whether your stock lives in warehouses, factories, shops, or even sales reps’ vehicles or homes, Accredo Saturn’s multiple locations will help you keep track of exactly what you have and where it is. Accredo Mercury’s single location stock control is simpler, but equally robust.
Take in every detail
Detailed information about your stock allows you to analyse and manage it well. In Accredo, add full descriptions, weight, volume, up to nine selling prices, even images of your products – great for reports, catalogues, even quotes.
Scan simply
Type barcode numbers into Accredo’s specially reserved field or import them directly from your suppliers’ files. With the right printer, you can also produce your own barcodes – generic ones for in-house use or licensed for national and international distribution.
Take stock
At stocktaking time, use the barcode scanner on your palm or portable data terminal to count items, then import the figures straight into your Accredo system. And don’t let things grind to a halt because of stocktaking – Accredo handles rolling stocktakes, giving you complete control over when, where and how you count your stock.
Move it
With commission percentages set at a product level in Accredo, you can really control stock movement and profits – increase commission to get slow products moving; decrease it for items that ‘sell themselves’.
Play tag
Tag items as inactive or not available for back order to simplify your selling and ensure you can always deliver on promises made to your customers.

Get it together
With up to 99 years history and a graph tab on every product record, instantly check your margins, sales quantities, costs and values for each and every product you sell. Or use Accredo reports to group products by sales group, stock group or up to two user-defined categories to capture just the information you need.
Break it up
Use Accredo’s kitsets function to group products sold together, setting a bundled price or allowing manual adjustment of prices and quantities at the time of sale. Manufacturing businesses will find it easy to keep track of both finished products and components with Accredo’s simple Bill of Materials. And with up to nine levels of nesting for sub-assemblies, you should never run out of essential components again.
Go global
Use Accredo’s global repricing function to quickly and accurately update prices on a stock group or supplier range. Specify the product group and update criteria, then update automatically or manually check each item before repricing. If costs go up, use global repricing to update these, and automatically mark up your selling prices as well.
Just go
Create your own product labels, shelf labels, barcode labels with Accredo’s built-in document designers and print the number you want, when you need them. Add the Accredo Custom Report Designer to your system and include product images, descriptions, warnings, special messages – anything at all – on your reports, catalogues, quotes, even invoices.
