Communicate
Put on a live performance
Accredo supports both ODBC (Open Data Base Connectivity) and OLE DB (Object Linking and Embedding Data Base) standards from a single driver, access to which is controlled by the presence of the EDI module. This allows you to read data in other Accredo companies and permits other applications to read from your Accredo system. Provide current product images, prices and availability on your website, maintain an up-to-the-minute Excel spreadsheet or check all your Accredo companies at once for a customer or product code.
Speak the same language
Import or export data from or to any other system using EDI importing, data-level scripting or the Microsoft COM (Common Object Model) standard and transform the data during the process so it is immediately usable in the destination system. Import or export salesperson records to payroll systems, or customer details to customer relationship management applications. Import orders from an application on a personal digital assistant (PDA) directly into your Accredo system, then export orders individually or in batches to the portable data terminal (PDT) system in your warehouse. No waiting for orders to be posted or faxed, no tedious data re-entry, no possibility of errors and the fastest possible turnaround times for your customers.
E-trade easily

Control
We enforce Accredo rules
Because any writing to the Accredo database is done via business objects, imported data is validated in exactly the same way as keyed data before it is accepted into your Accredo system. For example, Accredo will not import orders for customers or products that do not exist, and if the total on an imported invoice is not correct it can be rejected or corrected.
Enforce your rules too
Use EDI to enforce your own rules without having to constantly monitor your staff or the system. For example, EDI can check invoices at data level to ensure that margins per line or per invoice do not fall below a certain percentage. If they do, you define the next action – pop up a warning, refuse to save, email a manager, or whatever suits your business style and processes.
Guarantee compliance
If you rely on critical information for reports or sales analysis, link EDI scripts to events and enforce correct completion of all forms before saving product and customer files, orders or invoices – data-level checks are performed in the background, with data entry staff only interrupted if an error is detected.
Get it right every time
If you offer special prices to certain customers or for orders before certain dates, use EDI to ensure your customers are always charged the correct price without increasing the workload at your end. When you save an invoice, EDI can check and compare prices at data level and automatically adjust any that are incorrect, so quickly and seamlessly that your data entry staff will not even notice it happening.
